The Relationships among Decision Balance, Self-Efficacy, Self-Perceived Health Status in Leisure Sports on the Aged

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relation among within decision balance, self-efficacy and self-perceived health status in leisure sports participation on the aged. The participants of this study 263 elderly people who were systematic stratified cluster random sampling from the elderly residents in Deagu, GyeongSan Area. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, the survey questionnaires were used to collect data. The statistical methods utilized in this study for analyzing the collected data were exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, by SPSS 17.0 version. AMOS 5.0 program was used to exmine confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. From the analysis of this study, the following conclusions were obtained: First, there was a significant statistical results on the decision balance affects to the self-efficacy on the elderly. Second, there was a significant statistical results on the decision balance affects to the self-perceived health status on the elderly. Third, there was a significant statistical results on the self-efficacy affects to the self-perceived health status on the elderly. According to the result of this study, decision balance can be played a positive role to self-efficacy and self-perceived health status for the leisure sports participation to the elderly.
